hā·weo — to glow

"Every place leaves something behind."

A traveling jewelry collection shaped by the coasts it passes through.
Right now, that place is Kihei.

The Beginning

Born on
the water.

Haweo started with a single ring made in a Maui kitchen — a hammered band in 14k gold vermeil, shaped to catch the light the way the ocean does in the late afternoon. It sold the same day it was finished.

That was the beginning of something that resists staying still. The collection moves with the seasons — following warm water, new shorelines, the slow rhythm of a life lived close to the coast. Every piece is made to be worn in, not saved for later.

The Work

Made for
real water.

Everything is chosen for the way it behaves near salt. Gold vermeil that deepens with wear. Sterling that oxidizes into something more interesting than when it was new. Stones that don't mind being submerged.

01

Gold Vermeil

A thick layer of 18k gold over sterling silver. Warmer than gold-fill. Softer than solid. Made to be worn daily, not displayed.

02

Sterling Silver

.925 silver, left to find its tone with time. The patina that develops with salt and skin is considered part of the design.

03

Real Stones

Freshwater pearls. Raw tourmaline. Pale blue chalcedony. Nothing synthetic. Nothing that needs to be taken off before you go in.

Our Philosophy

Wear it in.

Wear it out.

Wear it everywhere.

Jewelry that only exists in the safe moments isn't really yours yet. Haweo is made to become part of your days — salt-touched, sun-warmed, carried from one place to the next.
